Coffee table made of used wine boxes

The pictured coffee table is made to a significant part of used wine crates. Focus was given to a classical design with a great deal of functionalities. Under the table there are six identical drawers for books, leaflets and magazines.

The table was varnished to protect the surface from daily usage. However, today I would rather oil than varnish the furniture. Oil is not a full protection but leaves the wood in a more natural and authentic condition.

This Furniture is now in use for several years. The day light has changed the colour of the table over time with a yellow shade.
