Fixation of instruments on workbench

Plate shears, a bench vice or a bender do require a solid fixation on a workbench. Ideally those instruments are permanently fixed on the workbench. However, this has the disadvantage that the space can then only be used for the instruments in place.

Alternatively I fixed all those instruments on a wooden plate which can be fixed with a few handles on the bench. The pictures do show how the wooden plate is fixed with the front of the workbench. The back of the plate is fixed with one or two whole clamps. The fixation is solid enough to work on the installed instruments.
