Simple Picture frame

You will not get it for a better price

It sometimes occurs, that the frame for a picture is even more expensive than the picture itself.

For a set of different maps I was looking for a simple, suitable and low cost picture frame. Doing so, I was remembered to my school times where we had a big map with a wooden frame in the class room.

Based on my school memories, I bought a couple of roof lath which can be purchased in every wood store and for only little money.

All roof laths were planed on all sides and three edges were rounded with the router. Finally, I protected the frame with oil for wood.

The frame looks ok and goes very good together with the historical maps.
